The first seminar on the topic “Comprehensive repair of molds and dies” took place on May 24, 2017 in the city of Kaluga.
The seminar was organized by the company “GlanzTechnik” together with “Oerlikon Metco Rus” (Moscow) and the company “Standex RUS” (Nizhny Novgorod)
The event was attended by over fifty specialists from various enterprises. Mostly, of course, from the central region, but there were also guests from different parts of our country.
There were great presentations of experts in the field: Victor Vurms presented the Alfa Laser equipment in his report “Modern solutions for surface hardening”, Andrey Zatvornitskiy shared effective methods for repairing molds and dies using laser cladding, and also disclosed the nuances of shape-generating surfaces.
Our partners, the company “Oerlikon”, represented by Ravil Gabitov, shared information on the use of PVD-coatings to increase the resource of tools and equipment, and Artem Sbitnev, representing “Standeks” in the first person, answered the technical questions on applying and repairing textures by chemical engraving.
The seminar included demonstration samples from the participating companies, revealed performance capabilities and practical recommendations on their use for various industries.
