Two types of work are carried out as part of scheduled preventive maintenance (SPM): routine maintenance and major repairs
As part of the ongoing equipment maintenance, work is being carried out to partially replace parts and components that are subject to rapid wear and tear. Individual components are also being checked and adjusted, mechanisms are being cleaned and flushed, and oil is being changed in lubrication systems.
Overhaul includes complete disassembly and cleaning of equipment, as well as replacement of basic parts such as frames. All worn assemblies and parts are replaced, after which the equipment is reassembled, checked, and adjusted.
During overhaul, all defects discovered both during operation and during previous repairs are eliminated.
